ENERGY GLOBE AWARD
The national Energy Globe Award Uruguay 2015 was awarded to the project“Communal early drought warning system for rural schools" of Amigos del Viento meteorología ambiente desarrollo. The project focuses on: Sustainability of a community’s water supply. This programme educates young people on conservation-oriented techniques and sustainable usage of the local natural resources.

Knowledge for Life - The power of stories
Illustrating the power of stories as a tool that addresses the problem of taking risks and that is projected toward a culture of prevention, privileging the knowledge and lessons learned from families through the illustration of their smallest members.
Primer premio en el Concurso Subregional de buenas prácticas en Reducción del Riesgo de Desastres en Instituciones Educativas “Generación –R”, Categoría 4: Material educativo más creativo y original. Plan Internacional, UNESCO y Save the Children, resaltaron la destacada participación de la Comunidad Educativa, el cual ha destacado entre 142 instituciones participantes en las cinco categorías establecidas. 2017
